I can't provide much information but here's what I can:
Squirrel hallmark is the Swiss domestic hallmark for 14K. Based on the shape, it's prior to 1934.
On the squirrel on the right, there is a letter underneath. That will tell you where it was assayed. I can't make it out, could be a C though which would be La Chaux-de-Fonds or a G which would be Geneve. If it's not one of those, Google would be your friend but if you have trouble just reply back.

Germany doesn't have an assay office, and the German crown mark is applied by the manufacturer, so I would assume (you know what happens when you assume....) that the watch retailed in Germany.

It's more than likely a Swiss movement, as during this time many were unsigned. I didn't see any numbers or information in the movement that would indicate who made it. If there is anything, feel free to share.

Another place you can post pictures (if you haven't already) and see if anyone has more information would be the NAWCC forum. They specialize in clocks and watches.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! In Budapest at the moment, but will be in a position to take a better look at the marks and follow up on your advice in the next day or so.

With the thickness of the bottom of the letter, it looks most like a “G” for Geneva to me.
