Hello everyone,
I recently acquired a beautiful spoon and I'm trying to identify the origin of its silver hallmark. The hallmark appears to depict a house or building, and I believe it may be from a German city.
If anyone could help me determine which city this hallmark is associated with, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you all in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
ShinySpoon

Re: German City Hallmark Featuring a Building or kind of House
yes, it is from Germany, Lower Saxony
the hallmark is from Quakenbrück
the makers mark [ICB]
is probably Johann Christoph Boedeker (*1757 +1830) (Scheffler no 8)
or
Justus Christian Bockstöver (*1783 + 1838) (Seffler no 16)
