I have my late father's serving dish from England. It was a family heirloom gifted to him. I am unable to find all the codes online. From what I gather, it is made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield and sold at Harrods.
I do not know what the H means as there are many H symbols but I cannot find one with rounded sides to the box.
As well, I can find the A, but the shield looks very different in all the examples I see.
James Dixon & Sons on many other examples has the name stamped in full and this simply has the trumpet. Any idea why this is?
Please see the attached photos and thank you for any help.
