Need assistance in identifying maker of this box

I believe this is an American snuff/patch box as it is only marked with initials and one pictorial device. The initials are B and then a staff of some kind followed by the letters..Fes. The pictorial is a profile of a man's head.

Hello.

Just offering a possibility here.
There was a French jewelry manufacturer called Bapst et Falize (Lucien Falize) who used a BF mark.
Not sure if this mark is one of theirs though.

Hello,
I would think its Boucher ,Paris ,1 rue de bellevue.He worked from 29th January,1904 to 6th November 1918


Mark: B.&.Fres. with variants .Symbol :Star
