Russia siover cup-18th(1777)

Post by madej »

Hi.
I don't have access to literature at the moment. Can anyone identify the haalmarks on the silver?
Regards

Hi madej!
This is Moscow. The assay master I.C is Ivan Saveliev (Иван Савельев), the alderman АΘП is Fyodor Petrov (Фёдор Петров)? the maker АМК is unknown.
Regards.

The maker's mark is not quite clear. It could also be T·C. An alternative master would be Timpofei Filippov Silujanov also in Moscow 1752-1802, but ???

Hi Qrt.S!
You are wrong. IC isn't maker's mark, it is the mark of assayer. The maker's mark is AMK.
Regards.
