Silver sigarbox? Country, City, Maker?
Re: Silver sigarbox? Country, City, Maker?
Hello Vantlicht
The label reads
کارخانه جواهر - Jewelry Factory
نقره - silver
وطلاسازی فدوی - and Goldsmith Fadavi (Fadavi is a Persian name)
اصفهان - Isfahan
At the bottom it reads
مثقال -- shekel which is a very old (ancient) Persian unit of volume. It must have survived in the jewelry trade and it may refer to weight.
عيار - grade with 84 handwritten
I believe that the three stamps are to the left - Isfahan -, in the middle - Fadavi - and to the right 84 - although I would not have been able to decode Fadavi without the aid of the sticker
Hope this is useful
