Doubled T markings on a spoon, engraved 1807

Post by Pepperonicini »

I do not know the origin of this mark. My literature suggests it looks like a "Tampere" town mark from Finland, but there are no other hallmarks.

Hi,

An image of the whole item, and a reasonable sized image of the marks, will no doubt aid identification.

As dognose requested..., but as for now I can tell you that it is not a Finnish made object for the simple reason that the markings are completely insufficient Finnish markings. I also doubt that is it silver at all. Anyway, new better/bigger pictures of the marks could give a reasonable result.
