unknown italian jeweler

Hi Everybody,

Is somebody can help me to find this italian jeweler ? I looked in all my sources / books but I cannot find.

The mark is 1689 AL (so after 1965) and the shape refers to mark registered before 1968.

Hi Magems,

The Italian registration number 1689 AL was allotted to Russo Ivano of Alessandria. He registered in 1968.

Just as a side note:

Member Amena supplied the following information: The law requiring the new format of the registration mark was enacted January 30, 1968. Nevertheless, the " regolamento di attuazione" (putting into effect regulation) was issued on 30 12 1970, and published in the "Gazzetta ufficiale" (official gazette) August 17, 1971. Thus the new style mark containing the star will not be found marked on items prior to 1971.
