Hi All
I have attached photos of an interesting spoon. I believe the woman with anchor and bird is a representation of "Hope." Though hard to see, in her navel area she has a Minerva head with "M". Spoon is about 6 1/2 inches long. It has a mark in a circle above the bowl. The Lion 2 with key inside the bowl. I looked at various articles here and could not be sure what this is. Is it a soup spoon? Might be by Preijer(?). I know we don't go into value here, but what is the general story of pseudo marks? Do they have value and are they collected for what they are, or are they fakes that should be sent to the refinery? Thanks
Rich
