Walter M. Krementz, secretary-treasurer of Krementz & Co., 49 Chestnut St., with Mrs. Krementz and their children, Letitia and W. M., Jr., have gone to Maine for July and August. Mr. Krementz’s sister, Miss Louise Krementz, East Orange, is spending the summer at Madison Beach, Conn.

Julias A. Lebkuecher, of Krementz & Co. and Mayor of Newark, finds that his official duties require the greater part of his time. During the administration of Mayor Lebkuecher the streets have been brought into a better condition.

Walter M. Krementz, 78, vice president of Krementz & Co., Newark, N. J., jewelry manufacturers, died July 27 in Surrey, England, while visiting his daughter.

Two changes in the road staff of Krementz & Co., 47 Chestnut St., are announced. S. Clayton Shepperd will hereafter represent the firm in the middle west, the territory formerly covered by Arthur Braun. Mr. Braun has been transferred to the eastern field.

KREMENTZ & CO. NAME TWO SALESMEN

Newark, N. J.—Krementz & Co., manufacturing jewelers, 49 Chestnut St., announced last month that Van M. Feltus has joined their organization and in the future will cover the southwest territory left vacant by Joseph Tunstall, carrying the products of the concern’s rolled gold plated division. Mr. Feltus, the announcement states, formerly served as sales manager of J. R. Wood & Sons ana more recently in the same capacity with B. F. Brogan Co.

Walter M. Krementz, Jr., who has spent three years actually making jewelry in the factory and serving in the service department of the Krementz concern, will regularly cover a portion of the territory in the north Atlantic area. He will carry products from the gold division.

Van M. Feltus, southwestern representative of Krementz & Co., Newark, who was called to Chicago to look after the holiday business there on account of the death of the late Chicago representative, has been appointed Chicago representative and will again be in Chicago where he spent many years in the trade and is well known. Headquarters are in the Columbus Vaults, 31 N. State St.

S. S. Battin, Jr., coast representative of Krementz & Co., opened offices Jan. 1, in room 722, Shreve building. Joseph Coll, formerly with the Dorrance-Battin Co., is looking after the local business of Krementz & Co.
