This is a long shot but I've inherited this belt from my grandfather and it features a 14k gold buckle signed "A. Kim '71"
I am trying to track down the smith with no luck. I believe the buckle was a gift from my grandmother to my grandfather. They spent most of their life in New Jersey and NYC so if it was not purchased on a trip it's probably the artist is from that area.
Thanks!

Wow, that's fantastic. I'm almost certain this is the artist. My grandparents lived just outside of Somerville for years. Thank you! Is this a piece of knowledge you had stored away or were you able to track it down somehow?Aguest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 9:20 am ::::::: ? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: A N T H O N Y K I M ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ? ::::::::::

Re: 14k belt buckle
::::::::::::::: A year ago I was researching a New Jersey Silversmith named Wolfgang Schroth who opened a shop in Montville New Jersey so I researched 20th century New Jersey silversmiths and I came across Anthony Kim so I had a random flashback to the name Anthony Kim and did a search for him. ::::::::::::::::::: I just randomly remembered the name Anthony Kim from that research. :::::
