Unknown Chinese Export Mark on Tree-Goblet

Post by 47-Ag-107 »

As the name suggests, I have this silver goblet and am unsure on what purity and region it indicates. It is engraved "1954" on the plaque, but wasn't sure if the piece may have been made earlier than that. Also has a secondary mark that I assume is the makers mark, but any information regarding it is welcome.

Hello there,

I believe it is the mark of Retailer Hoaching (和興 Wo Hing) Based in Canton c.1825-1880
with artisan mark 澄記 (Cantonese: cing4 gei3)

Kind regards,
Connor
