I would like to know more about this marrow spoon in silver, that I believe was made in Vienna in 1800.
Marks on this objects :
an oval coat of arms bearing a cross, with the figures "1" and "3" in the 1st and 2nd part, and "8" and "0" on the right side, in a square : probably Vienna, 1800 (based on the Tardy, I expected that "13" would appears above the coat of arms)
VR in a square : Austria-Hungarian mark for instalment on tax, but which period ? (source : Tardy)
T ? F under a bell ? in an oval : silversmith mark ?

Hallmark is from Vienna, 1810.
VR is a vorratstempel (Storage hallmark) from 1810.
ATF is a Taxfreistempel. "A" means Vienna. This was from 1810.

Regarding the hallmark : I suppose that, on the full mark, we should have on the left side of the coat of arms a "1" above another one "1" (that cannot be seen on this spoon), is that correct ?
Regarding the ATF mark : I understand that what it thought to be a bell was in fact an "A" ! Another example of the difficulty in silver marks description ! To some extend, it may be a sort of Rorschach test...
Can you please tell me, if possible, what are your source(s) of information (books, internet site) ?
Note that it is not, in any case, a sort of distrust toward information providen, for which I thank you. Based on my experience on this forum, often as a reader, I personnally consider that most of the contributors provide information of good quality, and when they are themselve unsure of the information provided, they generally specify cautions/reservation about it. I nevertheless would be interested to know references of interesting books about our common interest, silver, in order to know more about it, especially about specific parts (here, Austrian marks for silver) on which I know little !
By the way, I note that I did not found the silversmith mark (I thought it was the "ATF" mark) : I will look further on the spoon.
