Spoon Groningen nr. 4

Post by Vantlicht »

This spoon is clearly marked with 6 X so 1747 / 1748, but I do not know the makersmark. Hopefully somebody recognize this one?

Thanks!

Yes Groningen, year letter X of the 6st alphabet for 1746-47

Maker's mark partly struck, FDB conjoined in monogram in oval, attributed to Frederik de Booser, registered in Groningen, around 1722-< 1753
The wide oval bowl transitions directly into the stem. On the back of the accolade-shaped stem end is engraved EDA and a retailer's mark(?) in rectangle.
