I would like to know anything I can about this piece. I have no idea what it is or what it was used for or what time frame it is from.
It is also marked STERLING D6637 along with the maker's mark.
.
You haven't indicated its size but it looks like an early 20thC Gorham sterling perfume stick or dabber that would sit in a crystal perfume bottle and which one would use to apply perfume.
AS to what to do with it: I would measure it and wait patiently until I found a bottle that could serve as a mate.
The overall length is 6". The glass part is 4 3/8" in length. The diameter of the glass starts out at 3/8" and goes to 3/4" where it meets the silver.
