Drusus Pocket watch unidentifiable marks.

Post by medtype1 »

I have a Drusus watch in a stunning case. It shows the reichsmark (moon/crown). The moon looks like it almost has a face to it. It is also marked 0.800. I cannot make out clearly the makers mark, looks like either a bull or a lion. All four feet are on the ground, not rearing up. The number on the case is 197354. I know next to nothing about watches. I that number a date of some sort? Thanks!!! So glad to have found this site.

What resembles (to me) a "snorting bull" may be the Drusus company's logo. Then again, the original Roman Drusus was often compared to an eagle or a young lion - so it might be a lion after all. There is not much information on Drusus watches - perhaps Bahner can help.
