Help with identifying WMF hallmarks on a vase.

Post by zamboroo »

I'd appreciate any help in identifying the hallmarks on my WMF vase. I've got WMF, EP, I/O, OX, a large 51 to one side and then d/d that looks like it's been engraved by hand on the other side.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I think I can be of a little assistance. WMF stands for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, as I'm sure you know.
EP - Electro Plated
I/O - regular silver coating
OX - Oxidized.

51 might be a model number, but I can't help you with that, and neither the d/d mark.

Good luck on your future research!
