Help identifying early silver spoon marks

Post by hovesilverman »

Hi there, can anyone help me identify this makers mark/ hallmark. The smoon is Old English rattail in design and looks early. The only marks are those shown in the photo which makes me think it may be provincial. It has an engraving dated 1724 on the end which i am happy is genuine. What i would like to know is the age and maker of this piece.
Many thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Try posting a photo of the whole spoon and the engraving.
Also what is the length?
