Is this a pipe cleaner by Wilcott Manufacturing Co.
Is this a pipe cleaner by Wilcott Manufacturing Co.
It is inscribed with the marks [W.M][ANCHOR][LION][?]
The name mark is as it looks above, plane and no border & single full stop.
The date mark looks like an 'i' with a hood over it like the @ symbol in reverse and the a part being the i!
I think it's a pipe cleaner but i can't be sure as i don't smoke a pipe. i actually found the item years ago and i've held on to it ever since!
Not to bothered if anyone can help but it would be nice to have a bit of knowledge about it.
Thanks in advance

MARKS:
DEVICE:
Thanks for your help and suggestions. I think i'm going to settle with it being a toothpick as the skewer is too thin and weak to be yanking round under finger nails!
SUMMERY:
Silver (.925) Retractable Toothpick by Wilcott Manufacturing Company, Birmingham, 1837
Let me know if the above is wrong so i can correct it as i don't want to unintentional mislead anyone!
