I believe this butter knife is Coin silver. There are no sterling marks on it. Can anyone identify this mark? Thanks

Hi,
It is certainly an American piece. The mark is illustrated in McGrew's "Manufacturers Marks of American Coin Silver" were it is tentatively attributed to George Lindner of Philadelphia, active in the 2nd Q. of the 19th C.
McGrew gives credit to D. Albert Soeffing for the attribution.
Regards, Tom
