Gentlemen,
If you would like to continue this discussion, please do so in English and provide reason or evidence for your contentions.

Stecci, why do you believe it is pewter?
Sergei, how did you test it?

I know the Mark- it is very common to find. It is only of objects from pewter to find. I do not believe that the audit was serious. Sorry, but I am 100% sure.

Hi Stecci,
Can you tell us from what country the mark originates?
I agree that acid tests for silver when applied to pewter, or any other tin based alloys, can often be misleading. When pewter is acid tested, the results are often very much similar to the results you get from acid testing silver and this often results in misidentification of the metal.

I can not say with certainty what country the brand comes from. But I have several times in cups and plates in churches in Eastern Switzerland documented.

Hi Stecci, I ask you very much to give me the reference where it is possible to look similar brands. On appearance this cup does not look
as zinc. Zinc has no such shine as silver. Size of cup is : d=7cm, h=7cm, d=4cm
