Post by jcm »

This brooche (however you want to spell it) has got me . It has a large stone in the middle as you can see glimmers a golden and black or grey.
The marks I believe would date it very early 1900's I think and the 1 in the eagle would make it mexico city. Correct me if I am wrong.
But what is the maker. I think the initials are CF and it is in spanish. Anyone seen it before or know of the maker?
thanks

Hello.

The Mexican eagle mark was used roughly from 1948 to 1980.
Your newer style of eagle mark was used c.1955-1980.
Don't know who used that maker's mark.
