Silver Mark and Object Question

hello... I having already for some years this nice lil piece of solid silver handwork, but no idea from what country or what the mark's are.
It is a sort of little box in a shell form. standing on 3 mermaids. The handle is a sea dragon. The whole pice is beautiful! Maybe some tableware?

Not sure, but it could well be from Spain.

thanks...that would because of de pentagram star I guess... but still wondering about the 3 duck's as well, which is not a common animal in Spain... but maybe the author had a farm or lake with them :-)
