Belden attributes it to Charles Donnelly of Philadelphia, and her illustration shows both the name "Donnelly" and "Harvey R. Caberey," also of Philadelphia. However, I'm not so sure, since I've also seen the mark with other names: Nowlin & McElwain of Chicago, and Charles Wendell of Philadelphia. All I'm sure of is that the mark is from a Philadelphia maker.
