Help with a French Maker's Mark on a Military Medal

Post by Lwowak »

I purchased this military medal not long ago, and it appears to be gilt silver. There appears to be a crab mark on the V-suspension between the crown and cross, which would be the French small object assay mark.

However, there is a diamond maker's mark on the ribbon loop that I cannot discern. I apologize for the poor close-up, but I am hoping someone knows who the maker is. Any information concerning the maker, including years of operation, specialty, etc... would be very welcome. Thanks in advance for your help!
