Help needed to identify gold ring.

Hi; I'm new here so hope I did the image thing right!
This is a plain gold band which probably belonged to my father or grandfather and though I have checked in my Pocket edition of Jackson's, I can't find anything to tie it down. I'm especially interested in the date, as that would indicate the probable owner, but any other information would be very much appreciated.
As far as I can see, the maker is B&N, followed by a crown, 375, ? a leopard's head and the letter Q.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your images are fine.
Your ring is 9ct (375/1000) and was assayed at London in (I hope I don't disappoint!) 1990.

Trev.

Many thanks, Trev; in fact I had seen this entry in Jackson's (it was the style of the Q which caught my attention) but I had been led to believe that the ring would be much older; either pre 1940 or pre 1914!
It is a mystery, indeed; sadly my father, in whose posession the ring was, is stricken with dementia and doesn't recognise it.
But I'm grateful for your help!
