Butter knife? please help, can't find anything on it. Worn!

I think a very old butter knife but not sure of the real purpose. I got this piece in a box with a few other pieces of sterling but can't figure out where, when or who. The marks are worn pretty bad and I did go threw the maker marks of all countries listed at the site and came up empty handed. Dose anyone know anything about this little knife?
