Hello Any help identifing will be greatly appreciated. Silver plated over copper, would they be considered Sheffield? They are quite old possiblly 19th c but not certain. Two shakers about 6" tall two open cups. Engraved with a castle tower, marked with a cockerel in a diamond. Rams head design with floral reposse. Were these shakers for salt & pepper as in modern pieces or were there other spices in earlier times that they would have been used for. Any help that points me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Your pieces look to be electroplated.
Don't think those are British or American marks.
French silverplate marks are usually in a square or oblong cartouche.
Wish I could help more, but I have not seen those marks before.
