Dutch Silver ~ Basket of some sort

Would this be known as a bonbon basket, or is there another better known description? I'm wondering what the last mark would be. I think the date mark is "x" and is probably 1907, and the lion passant was used 1814-1953, but the third box I can't find anywhere. Is it most likely the makers mark, or could it be the city mark? Any help appreciated.[/img]

Hi,

I do believe the maker of this Dutch "bonbonmandje" or "broodmandje" is Alle de Haas in Sneek.

Hope this helps,

Best regards/JAKJO

I just located the Minerva Head, with the letter F. Would you happen to know what assay office this would have been? Thanks very much for all the information I have received.

Hi,

The Minerva head with the letter F is the mark of the assay office in Leeuwarden and consistent with the supposed maker.
