Hi folks,
Can anyone decipher the marks on this .925 silver handled magnifying glass?
The antique dealer who sold me this two montsh ago said it might be italian silver.
However, from the marks shown on the site, I think it could be Swiss. Is the third hallmark a duck?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kenny

Hello.
On January 1, 1999 the British hallmarking system changed.

I read your hallmarks as London 2006. The date letter has been optional since 1999.
In 1975 the assay offices of London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Sheffield adopted the same lettering cycle for date marks. They all now change it on January 1st.
Dublin Ireland has their own, different, date codes.
Don't know who used the TT mark.
