I have a couple of questions concerning this tray. Considering it's size (11" x 15.5") and it's weight (931 grams), which I believe should be converted to troy ounces (29.93) I find it quite heavy.
Is it usual for sterling to have no maker's mark or date hallmark? I assume that the "144" is a pattern number.
Does anybody recognize the pattern which is only on the ends, or have any comments?
Silver Tray ~ only mark is "925 Sterling" + Lion +
