Adam Adami? Amsterdam sucree spoons?

Post by toomuchsilver »

I am hoping to identify the maker of long handled spoons. I think the AA two dots mark may belong to Adam Adami, who KA Citroen cites as an Amsterdam maker 1727-1739.

My questions are these:

What is the appropriate term for this spoon? Is it a sucree spoon?

How were these spoons used?

Does anyone have further information about Adam Adami?

Hopefully you can see the A:A maker's mark, the axe and the Amsterdam mark on the back of the long handled spoon.

Welcome to the Forum.

As per the posting requirements, please post only one item per thread.

Please start another thread regarding the other spoon.
