Just who is the owner of this strange looking maker's mark?

Hi,

I tend to attribute this mark to Thomas Tookey. 1781/82 is fine for date. I have a number of pairs of tongs on my web-site, with several different "TT" maker's marks. We know he registered more than one style of mark & he is really the only logical culprit. The mark does come up reasonably frequently on tongs.

Regards

Thank you very much. I only bought this spoon because I'd never seen that style of mark before. Tookey it is.
