Baker Manchester Sterling Fork-What's it for?

Post by silvercrown »

This is a gorgeous fork in the old "Poppy" pattern by Baker-Manchester. Any idea what this was used for? It is 6 3/4" long. Thanks!

I suspect this may be a chipped beef serving fork. It is a little too large and the tines are too curvey to be a ramekin fork. And yes it is gorgeous. Norfish

Thanks again...I thought it might be a lemon fork, but thought it was too large. Your chipped beef sounds right.
