I have searched the forum and read the posting rules, so I believe I am doing this correctly.
If someone can help me identify the maker and their history I would greatly appreciate it.
It is a silver folding pocket knife that I have had for a few years and anyone that sees it always ask who the maker is or history, got it at an estate sale of a formal Georgia State Senator. I have searched the website quite extensively and for the life of me I can not find these marks but just bits and pieces but not together.
1st mark: Anchor in a flattened circle top and bottom
2nd mark: an eagle or bird looking to the right in a circle
3rd mark: profile of a human head, facing right, in an elongated circle
Here are the pics(hope they work)

Thanks for any help and by the way nice instructions on how to post pictures.
My best, Jeff

Silver pocket knife hallmark ID
Any clue yet?
Moved to coin silver pre-1860, can someone give me an indication why it is felt my knife should be in this section? Please an explanation may give me a direction to head, does one of the marks indicate coin silver or does one of the marks indicate a country or state or anything?
Any help on identification would be greatly appreciated.
You all most likely realize if you point and click at the photos they will enlarge and marks can be seen extremely well.

Wev, thanks so much for your help, I will follow these thoughts to see if I can prove this, Savanah just might be correct and time frame maybe correct as the initials on the knife (JBJ) was the grandfathers initials of the Senator the estate was from and he was born in 1908. Many thanks, Jeff
