There have been a couple of posts on fairly new silver jewelry suggesting Schuler or Preformed Parts for the maker, don't believe I've seen anything other than nice quality 1940s-60s vintage 14K or 18K gold jewelry by this maker. One of my favorite pairs of earrings bear the conjoined PP mark and the U.S. patent number 2423905 for the clip, issued to George Schuler, Jr. and assigned to Preformed Parts in 1947 (applied for in 1943). I am hoping to find a bit more on Schuler and/or Preformed Parts, their connection, if they actually produced jewelry for Tiffany or just the findings, or any other information.....

Hi Cheryl.
Can't help much, just wanted to point out an error I made a while back.
I suggested Preformed Parts as a possibility on another thread. Problem is, I wrote Performed Parts instead of the correct ( as Dorothy Rainwater is concerned ) Preformed Parts. In the same thread one of the other contributers actually posted a link to Performed Parts information.
