These pre-1950 (according to Mom) goblets are quite heavy - 7 to 8 0z each, and are also marked for the store Woodward and Lothrop. I have been told that the store used various European makers for their silver. The tiny incised marks, which I photo'd through a magnifying glass, appear (right side up) to be V E. Is this a maker's mark? Thanks.
