Need Help Identifying maker's marks...

Post by alinabruk »

I came across this beautiful large box with cherubs. The bottom stamped 800 & partially worn mark. Hopefully someone knows who the manufacturer is.
Thanks!

Storck & Sinsheimer, Hanau, Germany.

Hello

It's Storck & Sinsheimer, Hanau, Germany.

Please look here (upper middle of the column): http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you so much for your reply. I had a feeling it could be German but was not quite certain.
Thanks again!
