Can anyone help?

I went through all the Stieff patterns listed at replacements.com & couldn't come up with a match.
If it means anything, some of the pieces are marked "Sterling Stieff Pat. B"
If Steiff used date marks on their flatware, then that would give us 1937. Steiff did manufacture a pattern called "Rose" in 1937 that is a "gaudy" floral design so perhaps the 1937 is correct.
Thanks a lot

Re: Unidentified Stieff Pattern
Never mind the pattern - it's Corsage.
That does bring up a question though. replacements lists the pattern as active from 1935 - 1991.
Is the "B" on some of my pieces "Pat. B" a patent 1937 date?

Hi Larry,
Check out this post: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 38&t=16242" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It may be that 1979 was the last date of production.
Regards Trev.

Stieff Silver FLATWARE was NOT date marked. SO the B is not 1937. There were several dies in use.. and the B was a ever so slight change in the pattern.
Read more about STIEFF and Corsage at my site, THESTIEFFCOMPANY.COM
