Re: Identification Help
Welcome to the forum.
Not sure, but that could be the mark of Henry Matthews. Active till at least 1930.
I read your Birmingham marks as 1924.
Pat.

Re: Identification Help
Hi,
The mark depicting an anchor indicates that this piece was hallmarked in Birmingham.
The Lion mark (facing left with paw raised) indicates that this piece is solid sterling silver. (.925 fineness)
The 'z' date letter indicates that this piece was hallmarked in 1924 in Birmingham.
The 'H M' mark is definitely the makers mark of Henry Matthews.
So the information I can provide you with is:
Assay Office: Birmingham
Date: 1924
Material: Solid Sterling Silver
Maker: Henry Matthews
Regards,
Piette
