Hello,
Below there are pictures of a cross pendant by Хлебников (as it is stated by the owner), which makes me feel very uncomfortable and suspicion about.
It bears 3 marks that contradicts each other:
assayer's mark - Яков ЛÑпунов, St. Petersburg, 1896-1903,
company mark - Хлебников's company
( have been founded in St. Petersburg around 1842, and have relocated to Moscow before the time period, indicated by assayer's mark),
AH maker's mark in the oval cartouche - August Holmström's mark, who's known by his work for Фаберже, not for Хлебников. ( unless I am not aware of such works).
And the last, but even most suspitious detail, which deepens my doubts is clinching used for connection of the parts of the cross.
Please, confirm or deny my suspicions.

Khlebnikov cross pendant - another fake?
Re: Khlebnikov cross pendant - another fake?
Hi glenna -
As you recogniced: all the marks are wrong, the type of cross (in Russia) is wrong, the used chain is wrong and the quality is rediciolous. A very primitive fake!
