After reading a few posts about fake polish items I would like to know if these might be fakes or not

They dont have the owl hallmark

The cartouches are not engraved, is this normal?

Hi -

please try to post better (larger) detail photos, so we can explain the single marks. On the first glance your objects look authentic - but with better photos we can see exactly what it is. Unengraved cartouches are common - it was a matter of money, time and personal taste.

Yes, better and sharper photos of the marks would help the identification remarkably. However, what can be seen as for now is:

The upper mark seems to be the (Jan) Pogorzelski factory with their trade mark a stag's head, The assayer Walery Kostrebsky in Warszaw 1859 (1852-1860)

The lower mark is difficult to read because it is over marked and blurry. The only thing I can see with certainty is the assayer's mark O.C. It is Osip Sosikowsky/Sosenkowskij...also in Warszaw (1869-1896) but the rest ?????

What I stated is with reservations only. New pictures might change my current opinion.

OK, got it!

First mark is what I stated and the second mark is F.ROEVER alias Fryderyk Roever 1874-1875 in Warszaw. his trademark is a mermaid holding a sword. The rest I told you already
