Walking bird hallmark ID needed. WWII Trench Art piece

I apologize ahead of time if this is not the right place to post this but don't know where else to go.
This is a large metal ball of some sort. Etched and engraved with the place names of where a soldier has been during WWII. It is dated 1945.
I can find no other information even after sending pics to a trench art expert, he was stumped also. I am submitting pics of the piece and of the hallmarks. The halmark appears to be double struck so is rather hard to see. It clearly says Den Haag but I can't figure out the rest.

I found this mark which belongs to Rozenberg in Den haag but they were ceramic manufacturers. Can't find any info that they made metal art objects. Also they were in production 1890's early 1900's which may be to early for this WWII piece. However the vase may have been around for awhile prior to the soldier decorating it. Also the style of engraving and etching matches the art nouveau period if the soldier didn't do all the decorating but simply engraved over it. I will keep looking and in the emantime here;s the Rozenberg mark. What do you think?

Pewter manufactured by Meeuws & Zoon of the Hague, Netherlands. The text decoration was added later.
