Unknown Makers mark on matchcase

Post by Christian »

Hello,

I have three cases used for matchbooks - all of them have the same makers mark - I think it must be french...
i would be deeply gratful if somebody can help me to identify these marks...

1.Case (Lion????)

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/V ... directlink" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2.Case (Z = 1874 (????), Lion = 925, Δ = Import mark of Birmingham since1904 - thanks to silverport for the information)
how is this compatible? It is also marked sterlingsilver.

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/y ... directlink" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

3.Case

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Q ... directlink" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Many unanswered questions, but interesting... :-)

Hello.

I don't think the marks are French. Maybe Dutch?
Wait for other opinions.
