unknown mark

Post by oakley38 »

Hi,
i was wondering if someone would be able to help me with these hallmarks. A friend of mine has suggested that they are German. Any help would be appreaciated. It has only the two marks, the double fleur de lis, and the letters KT

Could the double fleur-de-lis with the surrounding dots/rays be Odense (Denmark) sometime in the 18th century? Just a thought.

Odense is very likely. I have searched masters but found no match.

i think that it looks quitesimilar to 4048, but I may be wrong. I may also be misreading the masters mark it may possibly be RT?

If so, I think the maker is Rasmus Møller Theilgaard (ca. 1791-1834), citizen & goldsmith 1813.
