These marks are on a silver ferner/centerpiece footed bowl-gold wash inside.Looks to be alot of hand work.after hours of internet searches,I am here. Sadly this is not a complete strike on the marks.Do any of you know who made this? and what is the silver content? 800? 900? Thanks in advance!
Hello, this looks like recent Turkish silver. TSEK is a certificate issued by the Turkish Standard Institute to document that a piece was made according to Turkish standards. Silver standards in Turkey are 800 and 900. The more elaborate pieces often are 900 fine, so I guess this is a 900 piece (just a gut feeling, though). I believe the name to read someting like Suleiman, which is a VERY common name in that region. Best wishes, Bahner
