(Silver?) Teapot

Post by MAWubbolts »

Hello,

I dont know I can get here answere here about my questions.

7 years ago I bought this teapot at a jumble sale. At the time I bought it for 30,00 euro. I'm often wondering about this teapot or it is of sterling silver or silver plate. I would like to get more information about this teapot.

Do you maybe know or it is of really silver? Or silver plate? Where does it from? Can you see how old is the teapot and who made it.

For the photos:

I hope one of you can answer about my questions. I'm really curious!

Have a nice day!

See ya,
Matt. Wubb.

Hello.

That is a silverplate mark used by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield England.

You're welcome Matt.

My guess would be 1900 to c.1935.
