Cat hallmark. Egypt? silver content? year?

I think it is from Egypt, but in which year was it make (Z) and more important the silver content.
It is a Cat (Egypte). I don’t know what the first thing is. And a Z.

Well it is certainly Egyptian, silver content is 800, dating Egyptian is very difficult because there seems to be NO resource to read the date codes anywhere on line or in print...... but it is before 1946..... city stamp is also very hard to read prolly Cairo but could be Alexandrina

Also the Roman Lettering system was changed to Arabic letters after 1940 so it has to be from before then.

Correct, and I can make sure for you that the year letter "Z" is for 1924~25.
