Hi all,
I am a newbie to this site and still familiarising myself with the wealth of information available.
Not too sure if I am posting this request in the right area ? and here it goes.. I am trying to identify an old silver jug that I recently picked up.
It has a British REGD TRADEMARK (A lion's head)
The letters AB - a shield, a fleur de lys ?? and something that i cannot identify, followed by the numbers 4 5 5
Hope I provided enough info.
Thank you
Mizou

Welcome to the forum.
That's a silverplate mark used by Browett, Ashberry & Company, Birmingham.

Thank you 2209Patrick for identifying this jug.
Looks like I might have to go back to the shop and get a refund :(
