The T Briggs posting made me curious about an umbrella of mine. The silver mountings are fairly plain, and they're on an umbrella I bought in London about forty years ago. The umbrella itself is a Fox frame that I had put on the handle which was in good shape. After so many years, I have no way of knowing if the beat and well worn frame it came with was original. I'm curious to know who the silversmith or umbrella maker might be.
